In May 2014 Louis Tomlinson’s younger sisters took part in an event called the “Colour run to raise money for Bluebell Wood Hospice.
Louis’s sisters Lottie, Daisy and Phoebe Tomlinson, signed up to take part in the children’s hospice 5K Colour Dash run, which took place at Rother Valley Country Park, Sheffield. They were joined by their aunt Sally Deakin.
Lottie said at the time :
“I’m really excited to be able to get involved with the Colour Dash and support Bluebell Wood.”
“I first heard about the hospice when Louis became a patron of the charity.”
“It’s a fantastic organisation and I’d encourage everyone taking part to raise as much sponsorship as they can to help the children and families who use Bluebell Wood.”
The girls visited the North Anston based hospice to model the events merchandise and accessories.
Each person ended the event with pink, green, yellow, red and blue paint on their faces and clothes.
Helen Mower, head of fundraising at Bluebell Wood, said:
“Thank you to everyone for creating a fantastic atmosphere and for making this such a colourful and fun event. We’re very grateful for all the support we’ve received, it’s been amazing.
“It was an inspiring event and truly wonderful to see so many people getting messy and having a good time while raising sponsorship for Bluebell Wood.”
