Louis Tomlinson and his mum Johannah Deakin have once again shown their unwavering determination to make the lives of others better.
This time they are helping Georgie Pie and her family.
Georgie suffers from a condition known as Retts Syndrome which is a severe neurological disorder which affects mainly females but there are few documented cases of it affecting males. The condition usually presents itself at about one years old but is present from conception. People with Retts syndrome have profound and multiple physical and communication disabilities and people with condition are totally. reliant on others for support throughout their lives.
Georgie was diagnosed in 2013. The condition effectively makes five year old Georgie a prisoner in her own body.
Louis and Georgie first came in to each others lives in 2015 when Georgies family started an online to help Georgie meet him. The campaign caught the attention of Johannah who arranged for Georgie and her family to go backstage at one of the bands tour dates in Manchester last year.
Georgie and her family met all the boys.
In June 2016 Louis made the following tweet:
Louis and Johannah have stayed in touch with Georgie and her family and even sent a gift recently for her brother Charlie’s birthday and a little something for Georgie too.
Johannah regularly comments on Georgies Faccebook page too to keep in contact and see how she is doing.
