Niall releases single “This Town” with Capitol Records

September 29, 2016: imageNiall Horan released today his single, “This Town” through Capitol Records. This is Niall’s first solo project release while One Direction has been on hiatus. His tweet indicates that he recently penned and recorded the song, which can be found on his site (picture credit: from Niall Horan’s official website) Today he tweeted to his fans about the surprise release and thanked them for their steadfast support through the years.image


Speaking with SiriusXM1’s Spyder Harrison in one the first chats about his solo release Niall explained that This Town was written upon returning from his eight week backpacking trip through East Asia. He stated:
“I wanted to kind of let people know that I was up to something so they didn’t think I’d just fallen off the face of the earth. That’s the only song that’s actually fully finished.

Capitol Records welcomed Niall to the family tweeting about the release and have a flag flying with the title of Niall’s song above their Studio building.

Niall has had many tweets of congratulations for his release, including tweets from his bandmates of One Direction, video director Ben Winston (who directed several of 1D’s videos through the years) and other celebrities and friends, and his millions of fans.




Niall has also spent a great deal of time recently devoted to his endevours with Modest Golf scouting for talented young athletes pursuing the field of golf and involved in several charity events (Horan&Rose Gala Charity Golf Event)
