Harry Styles reaches out to a seriously ill fan after getting word through post

November 1, 2016: imageIt came as a shock to 4 year old Jessica Whelan’s parents when they recently learned that she has a few weeks left to live. Jessica has a very aggressive form of neuroblastoma and this doesn’t give her family very much time to do all they can for her in the last weeks ahead. Realizing this her parents set out to try and get word to Harry Styles about Jessica, as she has always wanted to meet him and would mean so much if they were somehow able to contact him for her.

Yesterday (October 31), Jessica’s story was reported by a Lancashire radio station on their Twitter account. The tweet was retweeted and reported by several accounts including @OneDirectionNDA:

Within hours, word had reached Harry and he immediately contacted Jessica’s family to find out the best way to speak with her. Jessica’s dad was very surprised that they were able to get to Harry so quickly and posted this on their Facebook page:

Delighted that we were able to help get the word so quickly to Harry,  later on @OneDirectionNDA we posted how happy we were to learn of Harry’s quick response in reaching out, thanking to all the followers that helped to pass the message along!
